NC Sand started the summer of 2009 being one of the only sand programs in the state. Our director, Glenn Cashion and the coaching staff, started the program to develop and challenge the youth. The success of our athletes makes our program thrive. We compete with some of the best clubs around the country. Some of our top boys and girls teams have represented NC Sand in regional competitions and national qualifiers/championships across the country.
Sand Volleyball allows opportunity for players to learn conflict resolution, teamwork, sportsmanship, and health. NC Sand has taken the extra step and specifically designed practices, drills, and tournaments to grow each athlete's ability to communicate to resolve conflict with minimal confrontation. We invite athletes of all levels and ages. If you're willing to train, then we can coach you to the best of your ability. Each player gets a large number of reps and game play against all levels so they have the best experiences. We emphasize training our athletes in strategy, technique, attitude, proper nutrition/hydration, and MOST IMPORTANTLY TO HAVE FUN!
